Accountemps is currently filling an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk position with an organization that offers a stimulating work environment among a team of experienced, motivated professionals. While working closely and reporting to the Accounting Manager, the candidate in this role will be expected to manage the general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department. Matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks will be the main focus points in this role. Your responsibilities in this role: - Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs - Complete special projects on an as-needed basis - Operate full-cycle A/P - Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling - Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed - Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily - Facilitate internal and external audits as needed - Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents - Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department
Requirements of the Role: - Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement - Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) - Knowledge of Microsoft Excel - Proficiency in Sage MAS 90 - Prior experience in an A/P role preferred - Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred To be considered, please email your resume to email@example.com!
