Accountemps has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk that offers an invigorating work environment among a team of motivated professionals. The candidate in this role will work closely with and report to the Accounting Manager. Other responsibilities include attending to the general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department,. Matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. Based out of the Goleta, California area, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term temporary-to-full-time opening. What you get to do every day - Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling - Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed - Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners - Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks - Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed - Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it - Assist with internal and external audits as needed - Carry out additional tasks as assigned - Operate full-cycle A/P
- Be detailed, flexible, and organized - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred - Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds - Expertise in Microsoft Excel - Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) - Sage MAS 90 experience - Prior experience in an A/P role preferred For immediate consideration, please send your resume to email@example.com!
