primary purpose of the position: the associate art director will oversee the concept design and production of digital marketing assets for our surprise sale ecom business, including site, email, and paid assets. The associate art director will also contribute to the creative strategy of evolving the kate spade surprise brand, including how it works within the system of the overall kate spade brand and how it is differentiated as it's own surprising and delightful channel.
responsibilities: Under the oversight of the Art Director, work with a Digital Designer to ideate seasonal and monthly surprise sale creative concepts, and oversee the digital production design team in executing site, email, and paid marketing assets for surprise collaborate with creative leadership, marketing strategy, business, and site teams to continue to evolve and differentiate the surprise sale brand and how it comes to life across site, email, and paid assets, as well as brand heat building translate strategies into compelling and innovative creative that engages the customer, drives traffic and continues to build the brand's relevance and desirability
the accomplished individual will possess... 3-5 years of digital design experience including e-commerce and brand marketing, fashion preferred Excellent visual design skills with a strong sense of typography, hierarchy, layout, and branding Can think creatively and strategically Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and teamwork skills Proficiency in the adobe creative suite (primarily Photoshop and InDesign), Sketch, Figma experience not required but a plus Have the ability to clearly execute creative direction, bring new ideas to the team, and thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
