Adecco has partnered with an industry-leading manufacturer to hire a Production Supervisor to lead area production for their facility located in the Hartsville, SC area.  The Production Supervisor will be responsible for supervising employees and managing operations and production workflow while fostering an atmosphere of safety, teamwork, and cooperation.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring daily, weekly, and monthly objectives for Production, Quality, and Labor are met.
  • Managing labor and organizing workflow to ensure efficiency of production.
  • Monitoring employee productivity, providing guidance and coaching when needed.
  • Maintaining clean and safe work environment and enforcing strict safety & company guidelines.
  • Driving Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing programs.
  • Supporting Investigation of accidents and/or injuries and suggesting corrective measures.
  • Performing verification of production output according to specifications, analyzing all non-conformances for root cause and implementing improvement procedures.
  • Evaluating efficiency and suggesting improvements for production processes, equipment performance, and quality of products.
  • Maintaining inventory accuracy of raw materials in the department.
  • Training new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
  • Preparing necessary performance and progress reports.
  • Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field is required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor or similar position.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Process and equipment such as Presses, Dies, Machining, and Assembly Equipment.
  • High level of proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/MRP systems (such as SAP)
  • Ability to lead teams of 30-40 employees.
