Global experience and interest with willingness to travel & communicate both domestically and globally. Strategic plans to mitigate exposure for PTG BU's to help drive to the Stanley Black and Decker's goals and objectives during the strat period. Oversee internal and external tariff mitigation projects to insure timely delivery with no quality defects. Tariff systems expert: internal reporting, regulatory, costing (QlikView, SAP, SharePoint) Monthly communication to cross functional leadership team on tariff exposure and mitigation. Work with the engineering team to identify and execute best path to change country of origin on transferring products. Build and maintain relationships with key leaders across the various functions (engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, marketing, finance, supply chain, quality, compliance) around the globe, in addition to building and maintaining relationships with key component and finish good suppliers Focus on securing resources that are critical for the team. Support special projects identified by the Operations leadership group. (Global realignment of manufacturing footprint) Responsible for operating within budget.
What You'll Do
As a Tariff Mitigation Analyst, you'll be part of our Power Tools Group (PTG) team located in Towson, MD. The Tariff Mitigation Analyst will lead all Tariff strategic planning, analytics and execution across PTG. Develop and execute the mitigation plan to determine our best manufacturing location for power tools, home products and outdoor products to reduce our tariff exposure. Communicate BU wide numbers to senior level Operations, Finance, Engineering and Marketing teams. Additionally, this role will support the manufacturing/ engineering/ GSM strategy for determining where we produce products to maximize efficiency and profits. Specifically, you'll:
