This individual will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities of the assigned project to ensure the goals/objectives of the project are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget parameters.   Responsibilities:

• Reviewing project proposal or plans to determine time frame, budget limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project
• Establishing work plan and staffing for each phase of the project and arranging for recruitment or assignment of project personnel
• Conferring with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
• Directing and coordinating activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget
• Reviewing status reports prepared by project personnel and modifying schedules or plans as required
• Preparing project reports for management, customer, or others
• Conferring with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and 10 years of experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Training and experience in industrial technology and/or engineering
• Must have high level of skill and/or knowledge of business organization, marketing, finance, engineering, and product development
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proven track record of success in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong computer skills
• People development experience
