The Sr. Tax Accountant is responsible for the analysis and interpretation of present and future tax legislation to identify opportunities to minimize the domestic tax implications of foreign activities while maintaining compliance with all tax reporting rules and regulations.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Conducts research to advise management of the tax implications of various foreign activities. Works closely with the domestic tax compliance team to prepare calculations stemming from foreign activities including foreign tax credits, GILTI and FDII calculations. Prepares and files tax returns required under federal rules and applicable foreign tax laws and regulations. Responsible for meeting all required internal and statutory deadlines and keeping management apprised of any delays. Works closely with various tax and non-tax teams to support the needs of the business organizations and their customers, including the preparation of residency certificates and withholding documentation.

Job Contribution: Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Considers the needs of the business and the opinions of team members in the decision making process. Utilizes available technology to streamline processes.

Education: Typically a bachelor's degree in accounting, taxation, finance or a related field. CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

Experience: Typically requires 2-3 years of experience.
