Description

The Surgeon will perform Cardiac Surgery cases, Cardiac Transplants, and participate in the academic mission at our flagship medical center: Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a multispecialty team and be part of the regional CT Program at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist as well as participate in the teaching mission of Wake Forest University School of Medicine.  

To be considered qualified, candidates must be:

  • MD/DO
  • BC/BE
  • Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship trained. Additional training in Cardiac Transplant Surgery preferred.
  • Successful record of clinical and service excellence, research experience, and interest in graduate medical education
  • North Carolina licensure or eligible
  • Faculty Rank commensurate with credentials and experience
