BAE Systems, Inc. employees and subcontractors support the United States Air Force, Nuclear Weapons Center, Intercontinental Ballistic Missile System Directorate, as it sustains the existing LGM-30 Minuteman III weapon system and acquires its replacement, the YLGM-182A Ground-Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD).
BAE Systems is seeking an experienced project manager to support the GBSD Program Integration branch. Program Integration is the hub of all programmatic activities for the GBSD Program Office and is responsible for integrating functional expertise across the program office to inform programmatic decisions and support program execution.
The project manager will provide expertise and support to the government customer for major program integration activities, including program management reviews, risk management, acquisition milestone execution, and stakeholder engagement.
Pursuant to Government contract, this position requires US Citizenship status.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- 7 or more years of relevant experience
- DoD Acquisition project management experience
- Strategic thinking skills
- DoD risk management experience
- Change management experience
- Project development, implementation, and monitoring
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills; team player
- Strong communication skills; experience conducting senior level meetings and briefings
- Customer service focus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Must have active U.S. Government Secret clearance or higher adjudicated within the last 6 years
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- ICBM weapon system/program support experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Software implementation and management
- Experience with Active Risk Manager (ARM)
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
