Summary and Qualifications:
The Senior Specialist Talent Acquisition Events is responsible for the planning, execution and management of all Talent Acquisition related events and professional meetings supporting employer of choice and building talent pipelines.
Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:
Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
Create innovative event strategies and concepts to cultivate veterinary professional talent through participation at industry national, regional and local professional meetings and events.
Manage all aspects of event planning and execution including total exhibit and people logistics, registrations, premiums, content development, expense monitoring and budgeting, collateral development and pre/post conference activities.
Manage attendee preparation activities and supervision of execution during events.
Work with Marketing, Corporate Affairs and Field Teams to cultivate events that deliver on specific recruitment objectives.
Use analytics to identify and evaluate event performance.
Manage Events budget, process and track expenses and forecast future spend.
Partner with sourcing team to execute pre and post conference activities to drive recruitment outcomes.
Partner with Employer Branding and creative services team for digital and social media content and placement.
Engage and manage support vendor relationships.

Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time.
Project timelines and work volume / deadlines may often require more than 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of this job.
Must have mental processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking the English language) to perform the duties proficiently.
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and to solve problems involving several variables.
Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 50 pounds.
Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm-hand-finger dexterity with the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard and operate necessary equipment.
The noise level in the work environment is normally moderate.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Marketing or communications is required, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Three years in talent acquisition and/or employment recruiting is required.
Event management experience is preferred.
Healthcare or Veterinary Industry background is preferred.
