The CMA assists in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the APRN. Areas of clinical practice include patients ages 18 months and older in a convenient care setting.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures/Certifications/Registrations Required:
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting Program – Certification required. If new graduate, should be working toward certification.
- Computer skills preferred.
- Basic Life Support and other advanced training as appropriate.
