Information About this Position

  • 8:00am-4:30pm Mon-Fri,Work From Home,  No weekends
  • This position will be in the Utilization Management Department (MUST reside within the St. Louis Metro Area)
  • 2-4weeks in office traning

Role Purpose

  • Assists the leadership and team with department administrative duties, managing inbound calls, making outbound calls, managing electronic fax and spreadsheets.
  • 2-5 years experience in healthcare setting performing admin task or working on a healthcare team.

Duties

  • Manage and distribute Faxcon faxes to staff
  • Manage and distribute vociemail messages to staff from department phone line
  • Review EPIC and Allscriots to gather demographapics, admitting diagnosis and admission date and provide it to insurance companies
  • Assist department nurses by calling insurance companies to notify them of patient admissions
  • Draft meeting minutes for staff meetings
  • Utilize Microsoft Office for department operations (Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel, Teams)

Role Purpose


Provides social work liaison, including referral and direct services, for patients families, physicians, staff, agencies and others involved in social work services. Coordinates administrative office management for the Manager and the Department of Clinical Social Work and Chaplaincy.

Responsibilities

  • Secures providers of care for patient post-discharge needs.
  • Provides support to the case management program.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-5 years experience

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's Degree
