The Marketing Associate, Integrated Marketing is responsible for supporting omni-channel integrated marketing initiatives and campaigns for buybuy BABY. The ideal candidate will hold strategic and operational responsibilities across all channels including web, print, email, and digital; including but not limited to planning, concepting, item selection, merch coordination, creative collaboration, execution and post-event evaluation. The role will report to the Sr. Manager, Integrated Marketing.  

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Seeking a Marketing Associate, Integrated Marketing who will support omni-channel integrated marketing initiatives, campaigns and special projects for buybuy BABY.

  • Develop a strong understanding of the buybuy BABY brand and the BABY Registry business to support the overall strategic development and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns.

  • Assist the Senior Manager in building omni channel marketing plans for campaigns as well as special projects and Registry initiatives across mediums of web, print and email.

  • Develop strong relationships and cross-functional influence with internal and external teams to drive collaboration on marketing programs. Effectively and proactively communicate with partners. Ensure clear understanding of marketing goals and campaign objectives.

  • Support the team in monthly campaign and promotional planning.

  • Partner with creative, production, operations and CRM teams to deliver targeted compelling messages that drive sales and customer response.

  • Execute full cycle marketing creative process of briefing, reviewing proofs and final approvals; subsequently partnering with relevant teams to get creatives in market

  • Address and resolve production issues, timing conflicts etc. devise solutions and communicate the same to key stakeholders. 

  • Provide reporting/measurement/analysis of marketing campaigns, programs and initiatives to develop facts and tools that assist with future planning and decision-making.

  • Support testing initiatives across channels including print optimizations, email personalization and audience segmentation.

  • Monitor and report competitors' marketing and sales activities. Keep a pulse on industry marketing and retail trends and constantly be thinking of ways to enhance buybuy BABY's offerings to remain relevant and innovative in the market.

  • Ensure adherence to process to maintain accuracy of communication and quality of marketing outputs.

  • Effectively manage daily administration tasks.

WHAT'S REQUIRED TO APPLY: 
The successful candidate will bring the following proficiencies and capabilities:    

  • Bachelor's degree with Marketing focus.

  • Minimum 3 years marketing experience within a retail or other fast-paced setting.

  • Basic understanding of trends and best practices across all marketing channels. Campaign planning or omni-channel marketing experience preferred.

  • Highly motivated, proactive, resourceful and results-oriented individual with a high level of enthusiasm and passion for retail marketing. 

  • He/she will want to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment and will be willing to “pitch in” to help with ad hoc tasks within both the marketing team and other departments.

  • Ability to learn project management tools and data management programs

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to influence and persuade others with diplomacy and tact; work with numerous partners of differing levels, flexing interaction style as required.

  • Strong problem-solving skills demonstrating creative and resourceful thinking.

  • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills; ability to work independently.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to multi-task responsibilities and tasks simultaneously and to complete projects efficiently and accurately.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and project management tools (e.g. Workfront, Smart Sheet, Appian, JIRA).
