We are recruiting for a Manager, Data & Analytics, who will be responsible for building the full spectrum of data & analytics solutions required to enable Bed Bath & Beyond's strategic big bets as part of our Strategy & Transformation agenda. You will be reporting to Director or Senior Director, Data & Analytics – this individual will be responsible for building end to end analytics solutions and products across different areas and will work very closely with analytics leadership, business owners, data engineering and data architecture to ensure solutions are high quality, robust, scalable and deliver measurable impact.
The right candidate will be a strong hands-on analytics practitioner with high energy, ownership, and a collaborative attitude. He/she will have a strong background in data & analytics including data science, advanced analytics, data analysis, visualization, storytelling, and data technologies. A strong background in retail, e-commerce and/or any direct-to-consumer organization is highly preferred as well as management/analytics consulting. The right candidate will have a fantastic ‘can-do' attitude and willingness to roll up their sleeves in solving complex business questions across multiple domains.
Professional qualities & experience:
4+ years (Managers) and 6+ years (Senior Manager) of experience in data & analytics including data science, advanced analytics, data analysis, visualization, storytelling, and data technologies
Extremely strong and proficient in storytelling, communication, analytics translation and generating business insights
Analytical subject matter expertise in at least one of the following retail areas: supply chain, merchandising, marketing, digital, consumer, finance
Strong hands on experience in Python, R, and/or similar coding languages
Familiarity with the Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery is preferred but not critical
Familiarity with one of Domo and/or Tableau is preferred
Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Math, Computer Sc, Economics, Statistics, or related fields is required.
Master's degree is preferred.
