Reporting to the Principal, the food service worker plans, prepares and distributes meals to pre-school children, while ensuring clean and sanitary conditions in the kitchen and in the classrooms when food is brought to each room.
- Develops the menu
- Works with Administrative Assistant on food order
- Prepares food
- Distributes meals
- Maintains documentation as per CACFP guidelines
- Maintains clean and sanitary food working environment
- Transports food from kitchen to the classrooms in a clean and sanitary manner following DOH food handling guidelines.
Requirements:HS diploma with food preparation or related experience required.
Hours of Work: Typical hours will be Monday through Friday 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
