BJC HealthCare is one of the largest nonprofit health care organizations in the United States, delivering services to residents primarily in the greater St. Louis, southern Illinois and mid-Missouri regions. BJC serves patients and their families in urban, suburban and rural communities through its 15 hospitals and multiple community health locations. Services include inpatient and outpatient care, primary care, community health and wellness, workplace health, home health, community mental health, rehabilitation, long-term care and hospice.
Position provides pre and post–award administration and financial management for BJC grants and contracts funded by federal and non-federal agencies, foundations and industry sponsors. Fiscal management and compliance oversight of sponsored programs are governed by generally accepted accounting principles, federal audit and regulatory guidelines (Uniform Guidance), relevant laws, sponsor award terms and conditions, and BJC institutional polices. Throughout the grant life cycle, effective communication and working relationships with internal and external research partners (including principal investigators, research and administrative support staff, leadership, collaborating partners and sponsor liaisons) are necessary to support BJC institutional compliance.
