Boone Hospital Center is a 394-bed full service hospital located in Columbia, MO. It is a regional referral center located in the center of the state. The hospital provides progressive healthcare programs, services, and technology to people in 26 mid-Missouri counties. Although the hospital is full service, areas in which Boone Hospital Center excels are cardiology, neurology, oncology, surgical, obstetrical services, and numerous other specialties. The hospital maintains a 24-hour emergency center with hospital-based ambulance service and a helipad for incoming emergency air transportation. Recognizing its excellence in nursing care, Boone Hospital Center has been certified as a "Magnet Hospital" by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
The Human Resources Department is dedicated to ensuring that Boone Hospital is an excellent place to work and receive healthcare. The department provides services to support this mission in the area of recruitment, employee relations, policy interpretation, organizational effectiveness, performance management, leadership development, strategic planning, and employee communications.
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator (TAC) role provides support with a focus on candidate experience as well as administration of the TA process. Coordinators work closely with the TA and Sourcing Specialist to understand client requirements and leverage this information to assist in creating appropriate posting strategies to attract a diverse slate of candidates. Using technology and tools, the TAC will have primary responsibility for ensuring candidates are appropriately screened, tested, referenced, and scheduled to interview. Provide travel management and relocation coordination as well as reimbursement.
