Administrative Travel Coordinator

Key Role:

Support a complex, multi-functional organization by providing comprehensive, client-site travel and general administrative planning and assistance in a largely classified environment. Prepare detailed and often complex travel plans and make related lodging and transportation arrangements for implementation to assist customers, including mission partners and stakeholders. Oversee the administration of office files and relevant documents, to include physical and electronic filing. Update spreadsheets and SharePoint databases with pertinent information. Recommend process and procedure improvements for the travel program. Provide reports, status, and other administrative support as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with travel coordination

  • 5+ years of experience in providing administrative support

  • Experience with coordinating non-Defense Transportation System (DTS) travel arrangements

  • Knowledge of Joint Travel Regulations in making travel arrangements and cost estimating

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced operational environment, exercising effective problem-solving approaches

  • Ability to exercise strong interpersonal, customer-focused, oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to operate proficiently in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • HS diploma or GED
