Benefits Advisor, Lead
Deliver formal briefings to groups up to 50, conduct individual counseling, and perform community outreach and public engagement events as assigned. Support the execution of staffing, event management, and logistics activities at assigned installation. Ensure integrated and proactive communications, quality management, and risk management practices. Develop a coverage model for assigned installation, working with region staff and the region lead to address any gaps that arise from capacity constraints. Execute inventory review and inventory order management for assigned location.
-4+ years of experience working in a professional environment
-Experience presenting prepared training to large groups
-Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-HS diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in a professional environment, AA or AS degree and 6 years of experience in a professional environment, or BA or BS degree
-Experience with benefits administration
-Experience with the military
-Knowledge of military culture
-Possession of excellent consulting skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Public Trust clearance preferred
