Configuration Management Analyst

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for configuration control during the product development phase. Assist with the preparation of basic system specifications, including analyzing procedures for establishing change reporting requirements, authorization, and documentation. Analyze configuration analysis plans to encompass contractual requirements. Analyze change orders and interpret policies for reporting product design changes. Organize the configuration management documents required for audits and client needs. Review contracts and determine configuration requirements. Assist with the development and maintenance of a configuration management database.  

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience with performing configuration management
  • Experience with creating and managing Configuration Management Plan (CMP) documentation
  • Experience with managing a Configuration Management Library and Documentation Repository
  • Experience with managing and facilitating change control processes
  • Experience with managing and facilitating Configuration Control Board (CCB) processes
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • HS diploma or GED and 9 years of experience with configuration management, AA or AS degree and 7 years of experience with configuration management, or BA or BS degree and 3 years of experience with configuration management

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with CM tools
  • Knowledge of document management in SharePoint
  • CM Certification a plus
