Apply expertise in the subject matter to providing programmatic and technical support to a senior DoD Cybersecurity client, including supporting strategy, industry engagement, and metrics activities and other DoD enterprise capabilities. Analyze the development of DoD-wide strategy, policy, and guidance on client topics and collaborate with DoD services, Combatant Commands, and agencies to build consensus based on best practices and lessons learned. Develop briefings, whitepapers, and other materials for senior DoD officials in response to statutory and regulatory direction. Plan and execute industry engagements for senior DoD officials.
-8+ years of experience with information assurance and security practices
-5+ years of experience with senior-level action officer support in the DoD
-5+ years of experience with DoD Cybersecurity strategies, SOPs, and industry engagement
-4+ years of experience with IT policies and regulations, including the DoD Cybersecurity 8500 series
-Experience with briefing senior clients and team members on technical, policy, and functional issues
-Experience with technical writing, including security policy analysis, guidance, and memorandums
-Experience with Service Staff, DoD, or Joint Staff as government, contractor, or military personnel
-Knowledge of the DoD Cyber tools, including eMASS, Continuous Monitoring and Risk Scoring (CMRS), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), and Host-Based Security System (HBSS)
-HS diploma or GED
-Knowledge of mobile device security
-Knowledge of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) special publications, including 800-37, 39, 53, and 137
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-BA or BS degree
-CISSP or CISM Certification
