Cybersecurity and Network Engineer Key Role:
Analyze complex local and wide area network systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, and selecting operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges, and other devices. Resolve difficult interoperability problems to obtain operation across all platforms, including e-mail, files transfer, multimedia, and teleconferencing. Configure systems to user environment. Support the acquisition of hardware, software, and subcontractor services. Serve as a Cybersecurity Liaison (CL) and coordinate with host-based TEMPEST authorities to ensure all systems and networks are installed within TEMPEST guidelines. Act as a technical project leader and provide work leadership to junior employees.
-4 years of experience with working as an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) and Information Assurance Manager (IAM)
-Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of tools
-Knowledge of Windows Server 2008, 2013, and 2016, Active Directory Domain Controller, Authentication, Dynamic DNS, VMware, VNX Series Block-based storage SAN solutions, Horizon View Administrator, EMC VNX Unified Storage systems, Big Data Analytics, GreenPlum, Hadoop, and SQL Server while applying Cybersecurity methods
-Ability to work with others, communicate clearly, self-start, and leverage organizational expertise
-Active TS/SCI clearance required
-BA or BS degree or 4 years of experience with network systems engineering
-Current Security + or Security + CE Certification
-Experience with DoD or US Air Force information systems, regulations, and standards of operations
-BA or BS degree in CS
