Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization Analyst, Senior
Key Role:
Evaluate and support the documentation, validation, assessment, and accreditation processes necessary to ensure that information technology (IT) systems meet the organization's information assurance (IA) and security requirements. Participate in the definition of organizations' preferred state and risk thresholds and analyze actual state information to assess compliance. Work with agency leaders to codify strategic Cyber objectives into doctrine, policies, and procedures that can help meet defined objectives. Evaluate computer applications, software, or specialized utility programs to determine if software assurance best practices are followed. Maintain compliance of custom-built software against stated security policies using code-scanning approaches. Lead the administration of the documentation, validation, and accreditation processes necessary to assure systems meet security and privacy requirements. Provide work leadership for lower level employees.
Basic Qualifications:
-7+ years of experience with supporting Information Assurance (IA) or Assessment and Authorization (A&A) efforts for DoD systems
-Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF)
-Knowledge DoD Cybersecurity policies, directives, and STIGs
-Top Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
-DoD 8570.01 IAM Level III Certification, including CISSP
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with leveraging tools, including ACAS, CMRS, and eMASS
-Experience with assessing organizational risks and recommending mitigation strategies
-Knowledge of NIST 800 series publications
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-TS/SCI clearance
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
