Data Platform Site Reliability Engineer
Are you looking for an opportunity to support fast-paced IT operations and build a data platform that will help the DoD modernize their budgeting toolset? As a data platform site reliability engineer, you will be a trusted leader and missionary to continuously measure, monitor, and maximize availability, efficiency, and performance of a large-scale production data analytics platform. You will be empowered to conceptualize and implement the necessary automation and tools for migrating towards 24/7/365 operations across two network enclaves.
We need a data platform site reliability engineer who will simultaneously focus on long-term transformation, while also being hands-on in system monitoring activities, and supporting incident response. We're looking for an innovator who enjoys solving problems, craves continual improvement, and values process-oriented operations. In this role, you'll have the ability to incorporate site reliability engineering and DevOps principles into our operational approach and support platform-focused monitoring, maintenance, incident response, request fulfillment, problem management, and change management processes. You'll support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning, and launch reviews. Join us as we build systems to change DoD for the better.
