Deputy Program Manager
Design, analyze, and develop geospatial solutions and product specifications for infrastructure, hydrographic, and physiographic features for global geospatial images and vector products. Perform Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analyses on natural resources data. Plan, design, develop, document, and analyze spatial and relational databases. Apply software to manage spatial and related tabular data. Build databases by capturing map information with a coordinate digitizer. Produce computer map products depicting contents of databases, locate sources of GIS data, and apply extensive technical expertise in and knowledge of other related disciplines. Develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
-5+ years of experience with implementing and developing geospatial technologies and managing large geospatial technologies projects or programs required
-Experience with managing enterprise-wide geospatial technologies programs
-Experience with the DoD, Air Force, NGB, or ANG
-Experience with SharePoint, Web graphics, social media, and online marketing
-Knowledge of bioenvironmental engineering support, including occupational and environmental health monitoring and the implementation of processes to reduce health risks from occupational exposures to the base workforce
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree
-Experience with gathering technical and operation requirements and preparing documents, including mission needs statements, concept of operations, and similar
-Experience with knowledge management and visualization and geospatial-related systems and their underlying platforms, including Google Mobile Applications or ArcGIS
-Experience with writing or editing technical documents and strategic communications
-Knowledge of base inspections to ensure occupational health procedures and training policies are implemented and adhered to
-Knowledge of Defense Occupational and Environmental Health Readiness Systems (DOEHRS) data, including reporting data management gaps in the system
