We're looking for a desktop administrator to provide technical support for Windows and RedHat Linux desktops. You'll work on system hardware, operating systems, and software systems, including imaging, deploying, software installation and troubleshooting, and responding to service requests. Elevate support request to local employees and ensure resolution, when necessary.
As a desktop administrator on our project, you'll ensure the current infrastructure is functional and available. You'll learn how to help customers overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. You'll analyze problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. You'll be able to combine your technical experience with communication skills as you turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning. This is an opportunity to gain expand responsibilities into server and network support. -2+ years of experience with help desk support or systems administration
-2+ years of experience with imaging, deploying, and troubleshooting desktop computers
-Experience with updating and patching Windows desktop systems
-Ability to document support tickets, including detailed steps taken to resolve issue and time spent
-HS diploma or GED
-IAT Level 2 Certification, including Security+ or MCSA: Windows 10 or greater
Nice If You Have:
-Experience with supporting Windows Server 2012/2016
-Experience with supporting SQL Server 2012-2016
-Experience with configuring and updating network equipment
-BA or BS degree in CS or IT
