Perform secretarial and administrative duties for Principal or Director-level executives. Perform duties of a highly confidential nature. Complete work that requires intuitive judgment, knowledge and the ability to relieve a Principal of administrative details, including supplying requested information, scheduling appointments, preparing special reports, and obtaining information from sources within or outside of the company. Use technical and business vocabulary and apply expertise in company operations, organizational procedures, and personnel. Provide office management support, including asset management, such as laptops and equipment and purchasing. Make independent decisions regarding planning, organizing, and scheduling work within established guidelines. This position requires working a part-time schedule of 20 hours per week.
-5 years of experience in a professional work environment
-Experience with Microsoft tool suite, including Word, Powerpoint, and Excel
-Experience with using a Web-based Office Suite to enable collaboration, data management, and information management for an executive and a diverse team
-Experience with using Outlook functions to support meeting coordination, execution, and information dissemination to support business needs
-Ability to work closely with many team members in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
-Ability to multitask across multiple tasks and in support of various persons
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-HS diploma or GED
-Experience with technical writing a plus
-Experience with configuring Office 365 collaboration tool suite
-Experience with working in a US defense environment a plus
-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills, including having a positive attitude while learning the business and embracing the opportunity to grow
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including communicating clearly with executive-level personnel on a frequent basis
-BA or BS degree
