Human Capital Consultant, Compensation Specialist

Key Role:
Leverage subject matter expertise as a compensation consultant and join a dynamic team of consultants performing quantitative and qualitative compensation analyses to resolve a wide range of compensation and data analytics challenges in a highly impactful role within a client HR organization. Act as an external consultant as part of a team that influences the client's direction towards reward programs to meet current and future business needs to ensure pay programs support the organization's strategic objectives. Develop predictive models and guide decision makers towards optimal system and service design. Leverage analytical methodologies and expertise to execute project tasks. Apply expertise in quantitative and qualitative analysis, optimization, data visualization, and processes. Support information management, report generation, data visualizations, and methodology development. Participate in the verification and validation of models and tools.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience in compensation analysis, data mining and optimization, statistics, or data visualization in a professional work environment

-Experience with data analysis tools, including VBA, Excel, R, Python, Tableau, or SAS

-Experience with presenting complex information to non-technical audiences

-Experience with HR technologies, including complex HRIS systems and a track record of creating or maintaining organizational effectiveness, analysis, and planning tools

-Knowledge of the external market landscape, including planning design strategies

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint and Excel

-Ability to contribute to the development and implementation of strategic and complex compensation plans that align with evolving corporate strategies and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

-Ability to apply probability and statistical techniques to analyze large and complex data sets and conduct the development and application of optimization models to support independent assessments of studies, analyses, reports, and cost estimates

-BA or BS degree and 18 years of experience with data analysis or MA or MS degree and 10 years of experience with data analysis

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with developing data visualizations in Tableau

-Experience with executive compensation programs

-Knowledge of the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and any regulatory body on compensation matters and regulatory requirements

-Knowledge of federal human resources policies and processes

-Knowledge of talent acquisition challenges in specialist skills areas, including technical, Cybersecurity, and data science

-Possession of excellent leadership, analysis, and data gathering skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication and critical thinking skills, including communicating through storytelling

-Active DHS Suitability clearance preferred

-MA or MS degree or MBA

-Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) Certification
