Military Command and Control Research Analyst
Identify, analyze, and evaluate complex or highly sensitive systems, policies, processes, or solutions pertaining to strategic, operational, and tactical battle management command and control for worldwide operations, training, and homeland security. Analyze procedures for solving complex design, integration, requirements, training, and analytical problems. Perform or direct operational and technical analyses. Report changes, trends, and implications regarding the design and integration of evolving systems and instrumentation. Prepare briefings and reports on analysis methodologies and results. Provide work leadership to junior employees, as needed.
-10+ years of experience as a rated air battle manager in an AF Battle Management Command and Control System (BMC2), including AWACS, JSTARS, CRC, or BCC
-3+ years of experience with Major Command (MAJCOM) level staff or higher
-Experience with resourcing AF BMC2 systems
-Experience with the organization, training, and equipping of AF BMC2 systems
-Experience with writing and reviewing Joint, AF, and MAJCOM documents
-Ability to present complex operational and analytical information to AF senior leaders
-BA or BS degree required
-2+ years of experience with working in Multi-Domain Command and Control issues
-Experience in an Air Operations Center
-Experience with the DoD Program Objective Memorandum process
-Experience with Six Sigma
-MA or MS degree
-Graduate of a Joint Forces or Intermediate Development Education School
