Model-Based Systems Engineer, Mid

As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to shape a Navy client's unmanned operational capabilities by leading digital engineering implementation and initiatives for Unmanned Maritime System design, development, and acquisition. Your technical expertise will be vital as you apply expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to developing strategies for system behavioral analysis, requirements verification, and test planning, and interface integration and management for a complex USV platform. You'll develop your skills in modeling, simulation, and data analysis while gaining experience with unmanned and autonomous vehicles. Grow your skills by merging system engineering and modeling and simulation to create test and evaluation strategies that take advantage of emerging digital engineering capabilities. -4+ years of experience with supporting the design, development, and review of systems engineering design artifacts, including requirements analyses, interface designs, architecture development, and test plans
-Experience with using MBSE tools and the application of SysML, UML, UPDM, or UAF
-Knowledge of DoD standards, handbooks, instructions, and guidelines for systems engineering and test and evaluation
-Ability to conduct requirements traceability analyses in support of test and evaluation, planning, modeling and simulation, and verification and validation activities
-Secret clearance required
-BA or BS degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Software
Nice If You Have:
-Experience with supporting systems engineering for the hardware and software integration in a complex System of Systems (SoS) environment
-Knowledge of US Navy platforms, C4I, Sensor, and Electronic Warfare systems
-Ability to develop code to support physics-based simulation environments
-MS degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics preferred
-INCOSE or OCSMP Certification
