Network Security Architect

Key Role:

Work with clients across a broad range of commercial markets, including financial services, healthcare, energy, consumer products, high-tech, pharmaceuticals, and automotive to implement and achieve their Cybersecurity objectives. Leverage knowledge of monitoring, analyzing, detecting, and responding to Cyber events and incidents, including focusing specifically on network protection. Advise on an integrated, dynamic Cyber defense and leverage Cybersecurity solutions to deliver Cybersecurity operational services, including intrusion detection and prevention, situational awareness of network intrusion, security and data spillage, and incident response actions. Test, implement, deploy, and operate the infrastructure hardware to manage the organization's Cybersecurity operational services effectively. Provide work leadership to junior employees, as needed. Represent the firm in a polished manner when engaging clients to build relationship and further enhance Booz Allen's brand in the commercial marketplace.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with network infrastructure switches and routers

-2+ years of experience with implementing and configuring IT infrastructure systems, including operating systems, applications, databases, firewalls, and networks

-2+ years of experience with network protocols for IPv4 or IPv6

-2+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint

-2+ years of experience with network monitoring tools, including Wireshark or Packet Sniffer

-Knowledge of SDWAN, SDLAN, or Cisco ACI

-Ability to travel up to 75% of the time

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working for consulting firms

-Experience in working with diverse technical aspects of Cybersecurity

-Experience with information security regulations or regulatory bodies, including PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOX, or GLBA

-Knowledge of information security program frameworks, including ISO 27001/2, COBIT, or NIST

-Cisco CCNA or Cisco CCNP/CCIE Certification preferred

-Citrix NetScaler SDWAN or Talari Certification a plus

-CompTIA Security+ Certification
