Operations Research System Analyst, Senior
Support combatant command resources and analysis directorate. Design, develop, and apply a variety of data collection and decision analytics processes, including the employment of mathematical, statistical, and other analytic methods combined with military judgment. Develop information displays, decision briefings, analytical papers and facilitate senior leadership decisions. Provide analysis and apply technical expertise, Capabilities-Based Assessments (CBA), and other studies and analysis for clients into the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCID) and other aspects of the Joint Strategic Planning System (JSPS). Identify and articulate capability gaps and produce client recommendations for solutions to mitigate and fill capability gaps for established requirements. Participate in client operational planning processes.
-10+ years of experience with Operations Research System Analysis (ORSA)
-Experience with developing analytic methodologies, metrics, and decision criteria
-Experience with leveraging scientific methods to inform qualitative and quantitative analyses
-Experience with using automated statistical packages in support of analysis projects
-Experience with the Joint Requirements Generation Process
-Experience with Microsoft Office
-Experience with preparing and presenting senior leadership briefings and papers
-BA or BS degree in Operations Risk Systems Analysis, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
-Experience with CBAs, JUONs, JEONs, and FCBs a plus
-Experience with knowledge management (KM) or decision support (DS) taskings a plus
-Experience with JRAC, SIG, or WSIG a plus
-Experience with Joint planning a plus
-Experience with the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility a plus
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-MA or MS degree a plus
-Command and General Staff College or Service equivalent a plus
