Pulsed Power Engineer
What if you could use your engineering skills to transform the directed energy (DE) weapons? As an electrical engineer, you understand the power behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to conducting experimental pulsed power engineering. We're looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to advance the state-of-the-art for the US military.
Our team builds DE weapon systems and prototypes. That's why we need you, an electrical engineer, who specialized in pulsed power and specialized electronics to help us design and develop next-generation weapon platforms. You'll conduct research and development activities, conduct experimentation and proof of concept in the lab, and demonstrate performance on range by providing engineering support for prototype systems from concept through delivery. This is a chance to use your electrical and electronics skills while gaining experience in DE. -2+ years of experience conducting experiments via testing basic principles and optimizing variable parameters
-2+ years of experience conducting applied and advanced research, scientific study, and experimentation to advance the state-of-the-art or increase the knowledge and understanding of a -focused technology or its components
-Experience working around high voltage equipment
-Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a disparate and diverse engineering team
-BA or BS degree
Nice If You Have:
-Experience with pulsed power research, development, and test and evaluation of a wide variety of pulsed power systems
-Experience with modeling and simulation programs related to pulsed power systems
-Experience with the DoD
-MA or MS degree in EE
