Social Work Policy Analyst, Lead
Apply advanced knowledge of complex health systems' operations and performance to solve a health client's most pressing challenges. Leverage experience with and subject matter expertise in Medicare or Medicaid policies to advise client on solutions for program excellence, quality, and safety, applying to a spectrum of operational environments across the provider, payer, research, life science, and public health segments. Provide leadership and mentoring for junior employees, serving as a leader on client teams and internal teams alike. Contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Work on unusually complex problems and provide solutions that are highly creative. Act as leader on large programs and projects that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives.
-8+ years of experience in the healthcare field, including the social work field
-Experience with healthcare entities, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)
-Knowledge of Medicare or Medicaid policies, including policies regarding dual-program eligible beneficiaries
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree
-License Social Work Certification, including LCSW, LMSW, or LGSW
-Experience with case and care management in a managed care setting
-Possession of excellent client relationship management skills, including serving as the lead point of contact for various aspects of project delivery
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Registered Nurse or a related Clinical Designation
