Software Test Engineer, Mid
Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the aerospace industry? What if you could find a position that is tailor made for your mix of development, engineering, and communication skills? Efficient software development teams make the most of their time by limiting the activities that take developers away from writing their code. That's why we need you, an experienced software test engineer, to help us shorten the time it takes to get critical tools developed and into the hands of end users who need them to make mission-sensitive decisions for the Space Force.
As a software test engineer on our team, you'll analyze the development of tests and test custom Windows-based software to support the development and sustainment of a space mission planning system. You'll support the software development team by conducting continuous testing during the development cycle. You'll test new software, perform problem validation, and troubleshoot operational software, including testing software patches and information assurance patch updates. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas like communication with external stakeholders to provide status and insight into test activities and results. As a technical leader, you'll identify new opportunities to build software solutions to help your customers meet their toughest challenges.
