STORM Modeling and Simulation Analyst, Senior
Support operational modeling and simulation problems associated with USCENTCOM's operations and operational environment. Serve as a lead for operating the Synthetic Theater Operations Research Model (STORM) and integrate results across varied analytic projects. Conduct operations research, decision analysis, and analytic studies for complex strategic and operational military problems. Design, develop, and apply a variety of data collection and decision analytics processes, including the employment of mathematical, statistical, and other analytic methods combined with military judgment. Develop information displays, decision briefings, and analytical papers and facilitate senior leadership decisions. This position is not available for remote delivery and is located in Tampa, FL.
-10+ years of experience with Operations Research System Analysis (ORSA)
-Experience with using STORM
-Experience with developing analytic methodologies, metrics, and decision criteria
-Experience with leveraging scientific methods to inform qualitative and quantitative analyses
-Experience with using automated statistical packages in support of analysis projects
-Experience with Microsoft Office
-Experience with preparing and presenting senior leadership briefings and papers
-Active TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree in Operations Research, System Analysis, Science, Technology, IT, Engineering, or Mathematics
-Experience with advanced frameworks for simulation, integration, and modeling, Naval Simulation System (NSS), and SENTURION a plus
-Experience with Joint planning a plus
-Experience with the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility a plus
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-MA or MS degree a plus
-Command and General Staff College or Service equivalent a plus
