Strategy Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Work with government organizations to assess, analyze, design, and implement recommendations. Serve as the process and change management practitioner and leverage consulting expertise for clients, internal and external stakeholders, and technology teams. Maintain responsibility for using communications and change management tactics to ensure the ongoing adoption and use of technology and the best-end user experience possible for the processes and stakeholders that technology serves. Partner with change management, business process analysis, and other general management consulting activities on an ongoing basis to analyze business processes, changes, and enhancements to determine their impact across offerings, processes, and stakeholders. Assess any changes needed in stakeholder expertise or other requirements resulting from the change, including training, process map updates, and ongoing sources of feedback and analyze, develop, and implement communications and change management plans to support enhancements and new functionality. Translate technical information, develop insights, make recommendations while working alongside diverse stakeholder teams, and guide, direct, and monitor the progress of process and change projects, and identify and communicate opportunities to the team. Analyze client organization and business processes using industry best practices, methods, and tools.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in consulting with supporting clients in enterprise transformation, operational improvement or change management
  • Experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams including process improvement, knowledge management, or training
  • Experience in capturing institutional knowledge with clients using particular methods, including interviews, policy review, or systems analysis
  • Experience with building and maintaining client relationships in a team-based government or professional services environment
  • Ability to develop and manipulate Visio process maps, Excel spreadsheets, or PowerPoint presentations and deliverables
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite for graphic design and creation of visualizations
  • Ability to deliver in-project settings that require a grasp of cross-functional subject matter, including people, process, and technology aspects of change
  • Ability to provide professional services to the federal government
  • Ability to translate information, develop insights, and work alongside clients at client sites
  • Ability to be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced team environment and can navigate the grey areas of the role
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent analytical and data gathering skills
  • Lean Six Sigma, Business Process Model Notation, or DoD Architecture Framework Certification
  • Change Management Certification, including PROSCI, LaMarsh, or CMAP
