-Experience with VMware ESXi 5.x or ESXi 6.x management and administration
-Experience with Windows Server 2012 or 2012 R2 and Server 2016
-Experience with architecture design, system maintenance and patching, advanced troubleshooting, capacity management, monitoring, and reporting
-Experience with systems administration and engineering and maintaining responsibility for high systems availability and secure systems posture, including patching and maintenance
-Active TS/SCI clearance
-HS diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience with IT systems, AA or AS degree and 6+ years of experience with IT systems, or BA or BS degree and 4+ years of experience with IT systems administration and engineering
-Active DoD 8570 Baseline Security Certification, including Security+, CASP, or CISSP
Nice If You Have:
-Experience with deploying, configuring, and managing enterprise operating systems and virtualization solutions, including Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2012 R2, or 2016, RedHat Enterprise Linux, and VMware ESXi
-Experience with the management of virtual machines through VMware vCenter
-VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) Certification
-Experience with the management and operational use of systems monitoring tools, including SolarWinds, WSUS, or Microsoft SCOM
-Experience with analyzing and enhancing operational procedures and new innovative solutions to address current and emerging IT challenges
-Ability to work independently and as a team member to solve difficult technical challenges on a global scale
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent team collaboration skills
-BA or BS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or Network Engineering
-Microsoft MCSA or MCSE in Windows Server 2012, 2012 R2, or 2016 Certification
