Systems Engineer, Lead
Perform complicated and difficult software and systems design engineering assignments requiring a high degree of technical competence reflecting current state–of–the–art applications. Maintain full technical responsibility for planning, organizing, and conducting technical projects in the design and development of computer systems hardware and software. Coordinate and consolidate design efforts on major projects and prepare design specifications, analysis, and recommendations for presentation and approval. Leverage expertise in the system engineering development life cycle process and milestone control gates. Plan, schedule, and coordinate control gates and milestones. Manage meeting logistics. Track action items through boards.
10+ years of experience with requirements gathering and management
10+ years of experience with configuration management on software tools that constantly evolve through multiple iterations and versions
Experience in developing technical specifications and standards while working with clients for Cyber capabilities
Knowledge of a range of software development processes, including waterfall, iterative, and agile
Ability to perform in a mission driven dynamic operational environment using a variety of solutions ranging from enterprise to QRC
Ability to collaborate and coordinate with stakeholders to define interfaces through technical exchange meetings
Ability to be a self-starter and work in a fast paced environment of rapidly changing requirements, including adapting to new technologies, and applying unique customized solutions to complex software engineering challenges
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
BA or BS degree
Nice If You Have:
Knowledge of ServiceNow
Knowledge of computer network exploitation (CNE) and vulnerability research and discovery
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills for briefing and documentations
MA or MS degree preferred
