Artificial Intelligence Consultant

Key Role:

Support innovative government-run research and technology development in developing the next generation of contextually-aware artificial intelligence (AI) technologies as a technical consultant. Provide strategic assessments of new technologies in support of senior decision-makers while conducting background research in evaluating the feasibility and the defense applications of new technological concepts. Produce and present findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients, assist with technical program management and program development, and brief materials out for government R&D efforts. Work with world-class scientists in driving forward groundbreaking research efforts that develop novel, foundational, and contextually-aware AI component technologies for final application in human-machine teaming with autonomous systems. Maintain and leverage technical expertise and relationships in serving clients.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with advanced AI research

-2+ years of experience with authoring technical papers, reports, or program plans for technical and non-technical audiences

-Experience with defense research and development

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-PhD degree in CS, EE, or Physics

Additional Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience as part of a team that developed contextually-aware AI component technologies

-Knowledge of autonomous systems and human-machine teaming applications

-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent organization and client service skills
