Business Financial Manager
Provide business financial management and programmatic support to a DoD advanced research and development agency, including financial analysis and track and monitor expenditures, program management and progress tracking, meeting coordination and conference planning, and document coordination. Analyze and update basic program documents, including funding documents, multi-slide briefings, and presentations. Maintain responsibility for analytical, technical, and administrative duties in one or more phases of the budgetary process. Work with a fast-paced, multi-discipline team made up of technical subject matter experts, program and financial analysts, contract administrators, government partners, and government project managers supporting the advancement of the current state of the art in a wide range of technology areas.
-5+ years of experience with managing defense programs
-5+ years of experience in a DoD environment
-Experience with developing programs, including budget and schedule creation and tracking of financial commitments, obligations, and expenditures
-Experience with managing schedule, budget, and program risks in a fast-paced environment
-Experience with new program acquisition, solicitations, and contracting actions
-Top Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
-5+ years of experience with financial analysis
-Experience with providing analysis and support to defense research and development programs
-Experience in working with the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) financial system
-Experience with generating Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR) or Purchase Request (PR) documents
-Ability to exhibit flexibility, adaptability, and a team orientation
-TS/SCI clearance preferred
-BA or BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
