Cost Analyst, Junior

Key Role:
Create complete cost estimates for USG projects, including scientific research and training, force protection measures, IT solutions, facility construction and renovation, and operations and maintenance of facilities. Conduct cost research and documenting results for all required elements for USG projects. Analyze and verify costs within US contractor and subcontractor cost proposals. Assist USG with contractor selection and negotiations by performing cost realism analyses. Support project managers and technical staff with the development of project statements of work (SOW), work breakdown structure (WBS), and pricing support efforts.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with evaluating or analyzing data sets through linear regression

-Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

-Knowledge of quality assurance, pricing, and contract management analysis

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with consulting, project or contract management, US government or national security, public or private scientific research organization, international affairs, and CBRN defense financial management 

-Experience with cost modeling and estimation

-Experience with data visualization and analytics

-Experience with using advanced functions in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, charts, formulas, Lookups, sumIFs, and Visual Basic

-Experience with manipulating and analyzing large data sets

-Experience with preparing briefings and reports appropriate for senior government executives
