Cyber Compliance Engineer, Lead

Key Role:

Lead progressive and technical Information Assurance and Cyber Engineering teams in architecture, requirements, determination, development, and implementation. Assist with the development of security Plan of Actions and Milestone (POA&M) mitigations through timely assessments of POA&M corrective actions. Conduct technical and nontechnical reviews and observe audits to support development and test efforts. Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet requirements for processing classified information and support security authorization activities and ensure compliance with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DJ SIG process. Leverage knowledge of systems engineering requirements, specifications, and processes and SAP and SAR. Leverage experience with security systems engineering for hardware and software operating systems and application solutions and expertise in security features and vulnerability of various operating systems as defined by the US Air Force, a national agency, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), DoD, and USCYBERCOM. Apply experience with Information Assurance (IA) and vulnerability testing and working with US Government contract proposals as an IA and Security Engineering subject matter expert. This position requires frequent travel of 5-10 days per month within the Continental United States (CONUS).

Basic Qualifications:

-8 years of experience with implementing DoD and Federal IA Assessment and Authorization (A&A) Processes, IA controls and developing and maintaining associated A&A documentation IAW Risk Management Framework (RMF)

-Knowledge of security solutions to ensure they meet requirements for processing classified information

-Ability to assist with the development of security Plan of Actions and Milestone (POA&M) mitigations through the timely assessment of POA&M corrective actions

-TS/SCI clearance

-MA or MS degree required

-DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with System Engineering requirements, specifications, and processes

-Knowledge of Controlled Access Program Coordination Office (CAPCO) marking requirements

-Ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
