Electronic Warfare Software Engineer, Senior

The Challenge:
We need a Software Engineer who will use their passion to learn new tools, techniques, and identify and implement system improvements. You will analyze and develop computer software possessing a wide range of capabilities in support of maritime electronic warfare systems.  You will develop plans for systems from project inception to conclusion. Analyze user interfaces, maintain hardware and software performance tuning, analyze workload and computer usage, maintain interfaces with outside systems, analyze downtimes, and analyze proposed system modifications, upgrades and new COTS. Coordinate closely with programmers to ensure proper implementation of program and systems specifications. Develop, in conjunction with functional users, system alternative solutions.

You Have:

  • 7+ years of software development experience including JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell

  • 3+ years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, or Git

  • 3+ years of experience with scripting languages, including Shell, Chef, or Ansible

  • 3+ years of experience with Cloud Engineering or DevOps

  • Secret clearance

  • BA or BS degree in Engineering or Computer Science

Nice If You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience with naval electromagnetic warfare, including AN/SLQ-32, SLQ-59, SLQ-62, ALQ-248, NULKA, AN/SSX-1, or MK-53/MK-36/MK-59 programs

  • 1+ years of experience with tools, such as Grafana, Graylog, Kubernetes, NGINX, Tomcat, or JBoss

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies

  • Knowledge of Linux, RHEL, and Windows

  • Knowledge of secure networking

  • TS/SCI clearance preferred

  • AWS Certification preferred
