Financial Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Serve in a lead role in the firm's Corporate Forecasting group. Manage a team of 2-3 staff supporting Booz Allen's current year and multi-year financial forecasting activities. Track, understand and explain operational and financial drivers of company performance. Provide critical insights and strategic analyses on company growth and operational trends for the company's broader finance organization, C-suite, board, and external investors. Build, maintain, and quality control new and existing 3-statement financial models, including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement and act as a subject matter expert on revenue and expense drivers, including headcount, billability, billing rates, depreciation, and tax. Collaborate with a variety of teams throughout the firm to answer business-critical questions from Booz Allen's CEO, CFO, and business unit leadership. Operate in a high visibility position in a high profile group in Booz Allen's finance organization. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, US citizenship is required.


Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in investment banking or FP&A corporate forecasting, preferably at a government consulting or contracting firm

  • 2+ years of experience at a government services contractor in a finance role, ideally

  • Knowledge of or ability to quickly attain an understanding of the government consulting business model, operational drivers, etc.

  • Knowledge of accrual accounting principles

  • Ability to use Excel for financial modeling

  • BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with 3-statement modeling skills preferred

  • Ability to work in a team and independently

  • Ability to maintain strict privacy of confidential information

  • Ability to use financial modeling skills within Excel

  • Possession of strong oral and written communication skills
