Front End Developer, Mid

The Challenge:

This is an opportunity to meet challenges by collaborating with a development team to build applications, dataflows, and cloud solutions with user-centric design. You'll work with data scientists and back-end developers to create a seamless user experience using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web application technologies. You'll work with the development team to ensure accessibility for all users by developing a front-end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. With mentoring, positive code reviews, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a front-end software developer in a professional work environment
  • 2+ years of experience in using HTML for professional website development
  • 2+ years of experience with JavaScript for professional website development
  • 2+ years of experience in using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) fundamentals for professional website development
  • 2+ years of experience with modern JavaScript framework to insert framework code using React, Ember JS, Vue, or Angular 2+
  • Experience in Java or C programming languages
  • Experience in using wireframing tools and creating website design mockups
  • Ability to work in a team using Agile development techniques
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, Hive, Apache Spark, or Hadoop Distributed File System
  • Experience with application servers, including Node.js, JBoss, or Tomcat
  • Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization Docker
  • Ability to work with UX/UI specialists
  • Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree in CS
