Strategic Financial Modeler, Senior

Key Role:

Oversee the development, maintenance, and improvement of complex corporate financial models that forecast key metrics and operational performance.  Maintain data models and business logic for Booz Allen financial systems with limited oversight.  Play an active role in informing Booz Allen's strategic decision-making by distilling complex analytical findings into succinct and impactful takeaways for the C-Suite, Executive Leaders, and Investor Relations. Monitor, report on, and derive insights from more than $23B in backlog and $40B of opportunity pipeline. Perform ad hoc analysis such as backlog conversion ratios, job profit projections, and pipeline requirements based on exceptionally large data sets. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications

-8+ years of experience in a financial modeling role working with large datasets

-4+ years of experience with working in or covering the government services sector

-Knowledge of modeling techniques and best practices in Microsoft Excel

-Ability to perform time-phased and multi-variable comparative analysis

-Ability to translate high-level and sometimes ambiguous business challenges into quantitative hypotheses

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications

-2+ years of experience in working with Tableau

-Ability to leverage curiosity and a drive to learn the business as well as influence decision making

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including emphasis on translating complex financial models for senior leaders

-BA or BS degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred
