Essential Functions:

  • Assists in the tactical tasks regarding compensation programs. 
  • Assists base pay and bonus programs, including midyear and annual merit and bonus cycles.  
  • Updates, monitors, and maintains eligible salary adjustments/increases upon direction from the VP of HR.
  • Coordinates with the Director of HR to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. 
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Monitors and verifies compliance in employee personnel files. 
  • Ensure compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; periodically audits Forms I-9.   
  • Administers and monitors restaurants across the system has required Labor Law Posters; verifies billing accuracy and processes payment to outside vendor.  
  • Participates in all staff meetings and attends other meetings as directed. 
  • Tracks, prioritizes, and finishes duties and projects as required and assigned in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Returns all emails and voice mails within 24 hours.
  • Deals with interruptions and successfully manages multiple tasks.
  • Maintains highest level of confidentiality discretion, and integrity. 
  • Maintains behaviors and actions consistent with the company's values and standards.  
  • Continuously looks for ways to increase professional development. 
  • Works additional hours as needed. 
  • Regular and punctual attendance.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Some overtime may be required.

 

Required Education and Experience:

  • Associates degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
  • 3 years of Human Resources experience.
  • 3 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate skills in Excel. 

 

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • 5 years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
  • 5 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite; advance skills in Excel.       
  • PHR or SPHR Certification by HRCI. 
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
