Title:  Manager, Talent Acquisition   

Reports to:  Vice President, Human Resources

FLSA:  Exempt

Supervises:  n/a

Pay: $78k - $95k

 

Essential Functions:

  • Hire, lead, manage, develop and mentor Corporate Recruiter and Field Recruiters while driving a high level of performance against our ambitious hiring plans.
  • Drive applicant flow to restaurants and corporate positions through optimizing vendor partnerships, job posting strategy, identifying underutilized target demographics and innovative new tactics. 
  • Owns the Applicant Tracking System and ensure the right system is in place and optimized.
  • Offers counsel and guidance regarding market employment trends, skills/attributes, recruitment strategies, interviewing/assessments, and sourcing tactics.
  • Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and the Human Resource department to evaluate current talent and develop strategic staffing plans.
  • Prepares and analyzes weekly recruiting reports to monitor recruiting metrics to show trends over time.
  • Establishes a true business partnership with operators and senior leadership and provides guidance on all staffing related issues.
  • Builds tools and resources to ensure hiring managers have the information they need to make successful hires.
  • Execute and maintain the Support Center onboarding process for all corporate new hires.
  • Manage and evaluate vendor relationships with key recruiting vendors.
  • Oversee and manage the company recognition program to include recording recognitions, selecting monthly drawing winners and communicating winners to the company.
  • Create and manage the bi-weekly company newsletter.
  • Partner with the Vice President, Human Resources to manage and reforecast budget.
  • Manages all Talent Acquisition projects related to company initiatives.
  • Works effectively with all Human Resources team members as well as independently with minimal supervision. 
  • Consistently takes initiative, works independently, sets priorities, makes judicious decisions, and meets deadlines. 
  • Finishes duties and projects as required and assigned in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Completes special projects as assigned. 
  • Returns all emails and voice mails within 24 hours.
  • Deals with interruptions and successfully manages multiple tasks.
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures.    
  • Maintains behaviors and actions consistent with the company's values and standards.
  • Continuously looks for ways to increase professional development. 
  • Works additional hours as needed. 
  • Regular and punctual attendance.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience. 
  • Minimum of three (3) years in Human Resources/Corporate Recruiting.
  • Minimum of one (1) year in managing a team.
  • 3 years of experience using Microsoft Office applications:  Excel, PowerPoint, Word. 

 

Preferred Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management.    
  • talentReef Applicant Tracking System experience preferred.   
  • 1 year of experience recruiting in the restaurant/hospitality or retail industry.
