This exciting new role is integral to the off-trade sales function of B-F, driving performance in one of B-F UK's major retail partners. The key responsibility as a team member is to support the achievement of sales volume, gross profit, distribution, and promotion objectives assigned to the channel & customers of your responsibility. Generate a take away and sell in forecast by SKU / store in collaboration with the customer(s) under your responsibility, allowing to achieve an optimal level of inventory and service. Identify and take advantage of opportunities that help the company achieve its distribution, exhibition and sales objectives. You will also work across and establish effective and trusted business partnerships with B-F's key off-trade customers, formulating plans with customers to deliver key sales objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop a strong relationship customer(s) and understand what drives their decisions, taking time to learn about the business and spend time in store and provide valuable insight

  • Analyze data and provide facts that motivate customers to purchase, promote and ensure visibility for our brands, working to create incremental mutual value within business partnerships

  • Build strong internal relationships. working with the brand teams, category insights, finance, trade marketing, sales operations and supply chain among others

  • Work with the NAM & Senior NAM to develop account plan including volume, promotional activity, visibility, logistics and financial information along with KPIs for measuring results

  • Maximize new business development opportunities, working with NAMs on evaluating commercial initiatives, inventory analysis and measuring supply indicators including fill rate and lost sale

  • Work closely with the Marketing team to develop annual promotional plans and Finance to manage annual budgets

  • Coordinate sales administration and general internal account maintenance, evaluating brand activations, reviewing sales reports, analysing data to extract commercial and consumer insights

Experience

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Business related area and previous experience working in a sales position within the wholesale and retail environment. They will have the ability to quickly identify customer and channel needs as well as the ability to unlock insights from data and use them to drive growth with our trade partners. Previous experience working in wine and spirits or luxury FMCG industries is preferable.
